UNDERSTAND WHO WE ARE

About Sentry Cyber

Welcome to Sentry Cyber – your dedicated partner in specialised cybersecurity solutions for Google Workspace environments. Founded by industry experts Adrian Cosman-Jones and Anurag Adhikari, we recognized a significant gap in the market: while most Managed Service Providers and cybersecurity firms focus on the Microsoft suite, organizations utilising Google Workspace often remain underserved and vulnerable.

Our Vision

We envision a digital landscape where every organization operates confidently and securely, with Sentry Cyber standing as a guardian against evolving threats.

Our MISSION

At Sentry Cyber, our mission is to empower organisations by preventing breaches, detecting vulnerabilities, and swiftly responding to incidents to secure your mission from cyber threats. As your Sentry on the digital frontier, we ensure that your Google Workspace environment remains safe, reliable and resilient.

Meet the Founders

Adrian Cosman-Jones

Adrian embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in 2006 by founding Onsite Helper, a Managed Service Provider dedicated to resolving IT issues for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs). With a particular focus on IT security.

Adrian quickly adapted to emerging technologies, embracing Google Workspace (then known as Google Apps for Your Domain) upon its launch in late 2006. Under his leadership, Onsite Helper became a Google Cloud Premier Partner, offering migrations and support to SMBs across Australia and beyond for 18 successful years.

Anurag Adhikari

Starting in 2013, Anurag made his mark as a freelancer on platforms like Upwork and Fiverr, specialising in development, DevOps, and cybersecurity. His expertise in penetration testing, malware analysis, digital forensics, and incident response has benefited over 200 clients worldwide. A TEDx organiser and holder of multiple security certifications—including CEH, eCPPT, and eCMAP—Anurag has also served as a Security Engineer at a major bank. His extensive experience with compliance standards like Essential Eight, SMB1001, ISO27001, NIST, COBIT, and PCI DSS equips him to devise out-of-the-box solutions that ensure comprehensive security coverage from all angles.

One Critical Thing Most People Don't Realise

Sentry Cyber regularly helps DISP members, applicants, and Defence supply-chain businesses measure where they genuinely sit, build a roadmap to full Level 2, and maintain ongoing compliance as requirements evolve.

Defence Industry Security Program — Cyber Assurance

To genuinely claim a maturity level, every one of the eight mitigation strategies must meet that level. Being excellent at seven and weak at one means your overall maturity is dragged down to the weakest control.

This is why self-assessments so often give a false sense of security and why an independent review matters. We measure every strategy individually, so there are no surprises when an insurer or auditor does it for you.

Mandatory for DISP Members
Full Maturity Level 2

If you work with the Australian Government or Department of Defence, Essential Eight compliance is no longer a nice-to-have.

All Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) members are now required to achieve and maintain compliance with the full Essential Eight Maturity Level 2 standard. That is a meaningful step up from earlier DISP cyber requirements, and it demands demonstrable, evidence-based controls across every one of the eight strategies.

Join us in Fortifying your Future

Our combined experiences revealed a startling truth: over 95% of businesses we encountered were at significant risk of cyber incidents due to inadequate security postures in their Google Workspace environments. The demanding nature of working within traditional MSPs often diluted our ability to focus intensely on the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape. As a dedicated cybersecurity agency, we founded Sentry Cyber, to commit ourselves entirely to our true passion – securing Google Workspace platforms against sophisticated threats with the specialised expertise they deserve.
